	KINDERGARTEN DIARY 1993

	A trip to the Native American village
	I like feathers because they are pretty.
	I like to talk to Santa Clause because
	I like my Christmas Tree.

	There are nine pumpkins in the village
	My friends play with me
	I like to play with toys,
	Martin Luther King saved the world.

	I like my friends and my aunt
	I like to swim in a hotel pool.
	I like dinosaurs because
	Triceratops eats plants.

	I like leprechauns because
	They have footprints
	Dinosaurs don't scare me.
	I like to eat snow.

	My apple tree has apples.
	I like the sun it is morning.
	I like lima beans because
	They grow green.

	I like the earth because
	People live in countries.
	I like worms because
	They help people.

	I like Peter Pan because
	He flies different places.
	I like my Mom because
	I made a picture for her.

	I like Earth because 
	The Earth spins around the sun
	I like the park because
	It has a playground.

	I hate ticks because
	They get in my eye.
	I like a picture because
	I like it!
	I like the tiger because
	It looks like a cat.
	I like my house because 
	I like my brothers and my parents.

	I like to go to the park.


Ohanes Varaz Kalayjian, is a junior at Tappan Zee High School,
Orangetown, NY. He is the president of the AYF Arsen Junior Chapter,
Ridgefield, NJ.

Kevork K. Kalayjian, Jr.  A graduate of the AGBU's Melkonian
Educational Institute, Nicosia, Cyprus, holds a B.A. in Political
Science and Economics from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Rutherford,
NJ, a M. Ed.  Counseling Psychology, from WilliamPaterson University,
Wayne, NJ, and CPA requirements completed at Pace University,
NYC. Kevork resides in NY with his wife Maral, and three sons Aramazt,
Tro, and Ohanes. A descendant of survivors of the Genocide from the
town of Kilis, in the Cilician region of Armenia, an accountant by
profession, he likes to paint and write. His next project is to
collect the names of 100 volunteer Armenian-American families who
would like to resettle in Armenia and jump-start a new way of work and
life there. Some of his poems have been published in literary
periodicals such as "Ararat" and at www.poetry.com.
